Our project in partnership with Texty.org.ua continues working on creation of the National network of trainers capable to implement the open data strategies on the local levels and organize open data trainings and workshop for local authority representatives (volunteers, analysts, entrepreneurs, developers). Just to remind you that the first training from the series was conducted on February 27 – March 2 and has already shown its first gains.

During the workshop, the participants were developing the common scenario on how to conduct open data learning sessions in their cities depending on the level of open data development. Inclusiveness and balance between theory and practice is a key feature of the training. Open Data Policy and Open Data Mythology were described in details based on such best open data collecting practices as Open Data Index and Open Data Barometer.

Under the thorough mentoring of the trainers, all the participants have developed their own efficient open data strategies in the cities. The result of this workshop is at least 4 programs for regional workshops that are to be conducted by our participants with a slight modification.
