The USAID / UK aid-funded Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) Activity has concluded its work in Ukraine, summarizing its achievements over eight years, from 2016 to 2024.
The TAPAS team supported the Government of Ukraine in digitizing public administration and services to combat corruption. As of July 1, TAPAS officially ended its operations in Ukraine. Now, we are sharing the outcomes and accomplishments.
Notably, during this time, Ukraine has undergone significant and successful reforms that contributed to sustainable development and transparency. These reforms include the transformation of public procurement, the digitalization of the construction industry, and the growth of civil society and the open data community. A range of digital services has been launched, radically changing the approach to the state’s interaction with citizens and businesses while also having great social and anti-corruption potential. TAPAS helped to lay the foundation for transparent reconstruction and recovery of the country. The digitalization efforts have proven to be one of the most powerful anti-corruption tools.
We extend our gratitude to our donors and partners for their support and fruitful collaboration.
